If you came to camp Singing waters Campground is a brilliant place to do that, and McCauley Mountain is a splendid local ski area. During the summertime highs here at Otter Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Otter Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. This       lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Otter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cold Brook Campsites is a nice site for that, obviously you could also stop at Lost Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in the vicinity of Otter Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Otter Lake; Forty Mountain Trail is a great local trail; let's not forget Otter Lake Outlet which is a stream                  that you may run into while you're here. Get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Moose River - Middle Branch, and if you've had enough of Otter Lake, Round Pond is close by. Otter Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Lakes Trail, and everybody close by loves skiing at Woods Valley. Otter Lake gets a lot of water; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most, and February meanwhile is the driest month. And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains.
