Otsego Lake is a site with many visitors from Oneonta. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Otsego Lake. Stay the night at Glimmerglass State Park, and you have to check out Fivemile Point when you're here. While staying at Otsego Lake you could always explore Mohican Canyon, and while you're here you can play some golf at Otsego Golf Club. Lakes? Sure, Shipman       Pond is in close proximity, and at Otsego Lake you can make out Red House Hill. During the warm days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Otsego Lake while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 20's, and night lows at Otsego Lake through the wintertime ordinarily sink into the 10's. After a long day outdoors Lake View Motel is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and not far from Otsego Lake                  you'll find Clarke Pond which is a striking lake. If you need a place to stay Green Apple Inn is a tremendous choice, and a great place for whitewater paddling is East Canada Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Otsego Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cooperstown Beaver Valley Campground is a delightful place for that, and get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Kortright Creek.
