     Oswego Pond is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Oswegatchie River - East Branch right next door to Oswego Pond, and going for a hike on the Norridge Trail is always a perfect adventure. The vista of Twitchell Mountain from Oswego Pond is stunning; delightful hiking is available along the Big Deer Pond Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Oswego Pond. Get your heart beating on  
   the nice whitewater of Moose River - South Branch, and camping is available at Singing waters Campground.
Oswego Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. If you're visiting Oswego Pond from Ogdensburg-Massena, you won't be the only one, and camping at Cape Woods Campground is always a brilliant
 
               experience. This lake is so wonderful. Little Birch Pond is a tremendous lake near Oswego Pond.
But wait, there's more entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Daikers Brookside Lodging is a good site to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Salmon Lake Trail. After a long day outdoors Big Rock Cottages is a magnificent location to spend a night or two; what would winter be without some skiing at McCauley Mountain. During the summertime here at Oswego Pond, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Oswego Pond.
This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.
