Lake Osiris gets a great deal of water; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is February. Nearby lakes? Sure, Orange Lake is next to Lake Osiris. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Newburgh is a great location to spend a night or two; do take a hike on the Stillwell Lake Trail. Summertime       highs at Lake Osiris generally tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is slightly chillier of course, usually in the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Lake Osiris. Lake Osiris is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Acres Camp is a fine local campground, and hiking along the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail is splendid fun. But wait, there's more to do close to Lake Osiris. Lake Osiris is a                  place with many visitors from Kingston; why not take a refreshing hike along the Comfort Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Scott's Corners Golf Course is close at hand, and you're perhaps addicted to lakes, Crest View Lake is one of those close by. A great site for whitewater paddling near Lake Osiris is Wallkill River, and it's a delightful idea to visit Tin Brook.
