There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Lake Osiris. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Newburgh; a golf course close by is Scott's Corners Golf Course. The Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. The fine people of Kingston like to hang out nearby, and a lake close by is Crest View Lake. The warmest time of the year brings highs in       the 70's to Lake Osiris. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Lake Osiris tend to be in the 10's. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Montgomery/Maybrook is a brilliant choice. There's so much to do here at Lake Osiris that you need to camp here for a while, Lazy River Campground is a nice location for that. The high level of rain makes Lake                  Osiris a reasonably wet site; May is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and Sterling Forest has great slopes and a friendly staff. Good hiking is available along the Comfort Trail, and why not a little side trip to Tin Brook. Stay the night at Pine Acres Camp; paddling on Peters Kill River is so much fun.
