Oscawana Lake is a lake worth visiting. Not far from Oscawana Lake, you'll come across Mud Lake which is a charming lake, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Wappinger Creek. During the summer here at Oscawana Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, regularly in the 60's. Highs all through the winter are ordinarily in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's

| | overnight here at Oscawana Lake. Oscawana Lake gets much water; May is when you get the most rain here while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some magnificent whitewater; Oscawana Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Beaver Pond is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Residence Inn By Marriott | |

Fishkill; for you golfers we recommend close by The Garrison Golf Club. Some of the water nearby flows, like West Branch Canopus Creek. There's so much to do here at Oscawana Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Discovery
is a nice place for that. The slopes of Thunder Ridge are so inviting nobody can resist, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. Just can't get enough of Oscawana Lake. There are
other spots here than Oscawana Lake, for example Clear Lake, and at Oscawana Lake you can see Candlewood Hill. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express FISHKILL is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and on a good
day you can take a hike along the Woodtown Trail. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Oscawana Lake. If you're dropping by Oscawana Lake from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, you won't be the only one; if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail.
