It's always fun to stop by Ore Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Saranac River; dry warm beds await you at Mirror Lake Inn. There is a good hiking trail right next door to Ore Pond called the Schwartz Trail, and Whiteface Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff.
