Many people like to go to Ordway Pond. Smoke Rise Campsites is a great campground here, and Ordway Pond is right by the Dividing Ridge Trail. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Ordway Pond; August is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Adirondack Mountains. Stay the night at Ideal Campsites; the Elk Lake Marcy Trail offers hiking at its best.

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Balm of Gilead Brook, and there's glorious hiking along the Oregon Trail. Ordway Pond is a beautiful lake in the
Adirondack Mountains. All through the long summer days highs here at Ordway Pond get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's;
through the dark hours in the winter at Ordway Pond temperatures drop to the 0's.
This location, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Skiing at Gore Mountain is one of those things you just ought to do; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Mouse Rapids.
