There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Song Mountain, and do have a look at Geddes Brook while you're here at Onondaga Lake. Onondaga Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. If you came to camp Katmai Fishing Lodge is a nice place to do that, and Toggenburg has wonderful slopes       and a friendly staff. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's while Onondaga Lake overnight                  low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. If you're dropping by Onondaga Lake from Syracuse, you won't be the only one; the summit of Chestnut Ridge can be made out from Onondaga Lake. Hiawatha Point is not far from Onondaga Lake at all, and lakes are such calm places, why not go to Tunnel Reservoir. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. Marina Basin has magnificent water scenery and it's in the neighborhood of Onondaga Lake, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Liverpool Golf & Public Country Club. This lake is so wonderful.
