Wigwam Campground is a fine campground here, and a tour to close by Hiawatha Point is very relaxing. The scenery at Marina Basin in the vicinity of Onondaga Lake is delightful, and Onondaga Lake is a nice place to camp, Anchor Motel is a nice place. This lake is so wonderful. Just can't get enough of Onondaga Lake. Lots of people from Syracuse come to Onondaga Lake, and needless to say Geddes Brook flows through       this neighborhood. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Song Mountain since you're here, and a wonderful close by hotel is Best Western Fairgrounds. Skiing at Toggenburg is one of those things you just must do; Chestnut Ridge is clearly visible from Onondaga Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Onondaga Lake you can play some golf at Liverpool Golf & Public Country Club; Super 8 Motel - Liverpool /Clay/Syracuse Area                  is a great location to get some rest. Onondaga Lake is a good spot of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is November, and February is when it's the driest. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Onondaga Lake reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's.
