Beautiful Lake Oniad has much to offer visitors. Summer at Lake Oniad arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's, and night lows at Lake Oniad throughout the winter ordinarily sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. two, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. There are other locations here than Lake Oniad, for example Greens Pond; on a magnificent day you can check out Cranberry Bog, a swamp near Lake
Oniad.
The high level of rain makes Lake Oniad a reasonably wet place; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. A brilliant place to camp here at Lake Oniad is Newburgh/New
York City N KOA, and paddling on Wappinger Creek is so much fun. You get a tremendous vista of Watch Hill from Lake Oniad, and float down the rapids of Moodna Creek in a kayak.
