Oneida Lake gets a normal amount of annual rainfall; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Near Oneida Lake you hit upon a golf course called North Shore Golf Club, and if you came for an overnight stay Constantia Cove Campground is a fine place to camp. This lake is so wonderful.       You're sure to encounter some smiling people from Syracuse here; why not head up to Song Mountain and strap some skis to your feet. At Oneida Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Oneida Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. If you need a spot to stay Craftsman Inn & Conference                  Center is a splendid choice, and a lake close by is Kibbie Lake. There's whitewater on Salmon River for all you thrill seekers; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Toggenburg. If you're here at Oneida Lake, you could stop by Crandell Creek, and Green Lakes State Park is a pleasant local campground. Be careful coming to Oneida Lake, you might not ever want to go back home again.
