Take a side spree to Sprague Brook, and a good site for whitewater paddling is Beaver Kill River.       You'll need more than a day to explore everything Olympus Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hunter Lake Campgrounds; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mill Brook. There are other spots here than Olympus Lake, for example Pearl Lake, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Olympus Lake; Schiff Trail is a great local trail. Olympus Lake is a great place to visit for more than                  one day, Camp Rayim is a great place to camp nearby, and everybody close by loves skiing at Holiday Mountain. Olympus Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Benton Hollow is a great place to spend some time at, and not far from Olympus Lake you'll find Nimrod Lake which is a picturesque lake. This lake is so wonderful.
