This place, Oliver Pond, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Looking for something right next door to Oliver Pond? Purdy Pond is in close proximity; a magnificent nearby hotel is Edith Macy Conference Center. The high level of rainfall makes Oliver Pond a relatively wet place; the month with most of the rain is       July, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Near Oliver Pond you come across the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and you get a magnificent panorama of Catamount Hill from here. For the period of the days of summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Oliver Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows                  in the 10's to Oliver Pond. There is a good hiking trail close to Oliver Pond called the Stillwell Lake Trail, and hey, Indian Brook is a magnificent local stream. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant location to camp here at Oliver Pond is Camp Discovery, and an afternoon playing golf at Trump National Golf Club is always a delight. Why not camp at Camp Echo Lake since you're here at Oliver Pond; there's whitewater on Moodna Creek for all you adrenaline people.
