The Old Fly is a quite wet place frequently with a good deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is the month with the least moisture. The Old Fly in fact is in the middle of a charming outdoors paradise. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Willard Mountain; Carter Pond       is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. High temperatures at The Old Fly all through the long summer days are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at The Old Fly plunge into the 0's. The Old Fly is not far at all from Glens Falls, and a glorious close by hotel is Queensbury Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart beating on the nice whitewater of Batten Kill River. You'll need more than a day to explore everything The Old Fly has to offer, you can camp at Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping. The snow is splendid at West Mountain, and Stewart Hill is a peak you can see from The Old Fly. This lake is so wonderful.
