Whitewater paddling is great on Stony Creek; the panorama of charming Number Nine Mountain is good. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Glen Creek; this is a popular place for folks from Glens Falls. So many enjoyable things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time.       Really delightful skiing awaits you at Gore Mountain; nice hiking is available along the Oregon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. West Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff, and Wintergreen Lake Campsite is a brilliant campground here. From a rainfall point of view Number Nine Pond is a relatively typical spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain while February is typically the driest month. If you want a good time in the great                  outdoors, just come on down to Number Nine Pond. There's splendid hiking along the Spectacle Pond Trail, and after a long day outdoors Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a fine place to spend a night or two. If you need a spot to stay Super 8 Lake George Resort is a delightful choice; camping at Number Nine Pond is tremendous fun, Crazy Creek Campground is a tremendous local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Thousand Acres Golf Club is a great golf course close by. Summertime highs at Number Nine Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Number Nine Pond plunge into the 0's.
