Number Nine Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Wintergreen Lake Campsite is a magnificent local campground, and do take a hike on the Spectacle Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Crazy Creek Campground is a good site to do that, and Super 8 Lake George Resort is a nice site to get some rest. Having a great time at Number Nine Pond is trouble-free. If you need a place to stay       Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a glorious choice; Bear Pond is a fine lake close by. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains rules! Why not take a refreshing hike along the Oregon Trail, and at Number Nine Pond you can make out Number Nine Mountain. The yearly rain here at Number Nine Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Now,                  you may believe that's plenty but there's even more cool stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. There are other places here than Number Nine Pond, for example Coon Pond, and whitewater paddling is fine on Glen Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Gore Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and paddling on Stony Creek is so much fun. Through the summer at Number Nine Pond temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Number Nine Pond sink into the 0's. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains.
