It's always fun to stop by Notch Lake. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Notch Lake. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and overnight lows during the winter for Notch Lake tend to be in the 0's. You'll meet a lot of people from Kingston here. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the Catskill Mountains. A magnificent place for whitewater paddling next to Notch Lake is East Kill River, and you'll

| | never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Hunter Mountain since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at White Birches while you're here at Notch Lake, and a good nearby hotel is Hotel Vienna. The amount of rain that falls at Notch Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. exciting stuff. Near Notch Lake you hit upon the Spruceton Trail which is a great hiking trail, and if you're here you can play some golf at Colonial Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well stop
at Becker Hollow, and if you came for an overnight stay Phoenicia Black Bear Campground & RV Park is a fine site to camp. Be careful coming to Notch Lake, you might not ever want to return back home again. Go for a hike on the Phoenicia
Trail; you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Windham Mountain. Notch Lake is located in the Catskill Mountains. Devils Tombstone is something you shouldn't miss since you're here at Notch Lake; Winwood Inn is a
glorious place to get some rest. Going for a hike on the Willow Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Saw Kill River is a good whitewater spot close by.
