Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Camping at North Pond is great fun, Ranch Side Park is a great local campground, and Hudson River is a nice whitewater spot nearby. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! North Pond is great! Binder's Cabins is a nice place to get some rest, and you can go for a hike on the Oregon Trail. County       Line Mountain can be observed from North Pond, and folks from Gloversville love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous spot for whitewater paddling in close proximity to North Pond is Cedar River. North Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not camp at Rainbows End since you're here at North Pond, and while you're here, you could also have a look at pretty Puffer Pond. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a good                  time. A splendid nearby hotel is Garnet Hill X C Ski Center, and delightful hiking is available along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. North Pond is a good spot of normal precipitation; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at North Pond all through the long summer days are in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows at North Pond during the winter commonly drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful.
