Snow Ridge is a great place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Brantingham Golf Club not far from North Pond, and on a pretty day you get a nice sight of Buck Mountain from North Pond. So many cool things to do here at North Pond, too great to be true. What would winter be without some skiing at McCauley       Mountain, and a tremendous spot for whitewater paddling is Beaver River. Do go to East Pond in the vicinity of North Pond, it's a wonderful lake, and North Pond is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Moose River Camp Grounds is a nice local campground. Summertime highs at North Pond regularly tend to be in the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun                  is down throughout the winter temperatures at North Pond drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The amount of precipitation that falls at North Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. There's some flowing water nearby, Pine Creek is a stream you can check out while you're here, and camping at Cold Brook Campsites is always a great experience.
