Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. This is a popular spot for people from Glens Falls, and after a long day outdoors Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a splendid place to spend a night or two. So much entertaining stuff to do here at North Pond, too brilliant       to be true. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Putnam Creek, and Bear Pond Mountain is a peak you can see from North Pond. This lake is so wonderful. North Pond is right by the Rock Pond Trail, and why not camp at Green Acres By The Brook since you're here at North Pond. North Pond gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. Putnam Pond                  is a delightful lake in the neighborhood of North Pond. There's whitewater on La Chute River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes? Sure, Heart Pond is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a good choice, and the Bear Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. That right there is heaps of enjoyable stuff already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Why not explore a swamp like Peshette Swamp while you're here at North Pond, and there's perfect hiking along the Clear Pond Trail. North Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at North Pond, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and the nighttime is somewhat colder of course, typically in the 50's.
