Stay the night at Cape Woods Campground; on a great day you can take a hike along the Party Trail. North Lake typically gets a large amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is February. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too wonderful to be true. A perfect panorama of charming Cool Mountain is available from North Lake, and as expected       Golden Stair Creek flows through this area. During the months of summer, highs frequently are in the 70's at North Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at North Lake plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Little Falls Motor Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. North Lake is located                  in the Adirondack Mountains. Man, is there a heap of entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at McCauley Mountain while you're here; whitewater paddling is great on Black River - South Branch. Best Western Sunset Inn is a splendid location to get some rest, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Singing waters Campground is a magnificent campground here, and the Forty Mountain Trail is a perfect hiking trail close by. Having a good time at North Lake is trouble-free.
