This lake is so wonderful. The snow is good at McCauley Mountain, and you can go for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping at OLD Forge Camping Resort is always a fine experience, and naturally, this is a pleasant vicinity for people who like lakes, Burp Lake is a lake nearby. This lake is       so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Party Trail. There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Black River - South Branch; don't forget to take a delightful little visit to Golden Stair Creek. So many fun things in the Adirondack Mountains, just mind-blowing. If you came to camp Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a magnificent location to do that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Black River. Nearby                  lakes? Sure, Little Woodhull Lake is near North Lake; Knights Inn Little Falls is a delightful site to get some rest. For the period of the warm months highs here at North Lake reach the 70's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at North Lake. A great deal of rain falls at North Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Just can't get enough of North Lake.
