North Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summertime highs at North Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and the nighttime is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are frequently in the 20's while the cold winter nights at North Lake are in the 0's. | | Windham Mountain, and going for a hike on the Phoenicia Trail is always a fine adventure. A cool spot to stop at in the neighborhood of North Lake is Artists Rock. There's so much to do here at North Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rip Van winkle Campgrounds is a pleasant site for that.

This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Mountain
Brook, and if you desire a little side journey, try Hillyer Ravine. This lake is so wonderful. North Mountain is painless to spot from North Lake, and you can stay the night at Pine Hollow Campgrounds And Pine Hollow Estates. All
year is a pleasant time in the Catskill Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Hit the slopes at Hunter Mountain close at hand, and there are plenty of people from Kingston here.
But wait, there's more to do in the
neighborhood of North Lake. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Saugerties is a great choice. This place, North Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Glide down the rapids of Plattekill Creek in a kayak, and
there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Spruceton Trail. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Beaver Kill River, and Rip Van Winkle Country Club is a golf course nearby.
