Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. Camping at North Branch Lake is brilliant fun, Adirondack Gateway Campground is a brilliant local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Party Trail. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at North Branch Lake reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime       highs throughout the wintertime are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the wintertime at North Branch Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. Good hiking is available along the Forty Mountain Trail; do stop by Middle Branch Little Black Creek while you're here at North Branch Lake. North Branch Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. You can never get enough of the delightful skiing at McCauley Mountain; North Branch Lake is a                  great spot to camp, Trail's End Campground is a great spot. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Cotton Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Grant Hotel. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Sunset Inn is a pleasant choice. If you go for the outdoors, you'll like North Branch Lake. There are splendid places to look at along the Twin Lakes Trail; Black River - South Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by. North Branch Lake generally gets a lot of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
