Sure, Little Buck Mountain Pond is near Lake Nimham, and you'll perhaps meet some people from Carmel here. This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely addicted to lakes, Clear Pool is one of those close by, and a wonderful       spot for whitewater paddling is Fish Kill River. Branton Woods Golf Club is a good golf course nearby; Lake Nimham is good enough to spend more than a day at, Sylvan Lake Beach Park is a good local campground. Lake Nimham commonly gets lots of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Lake Nimham that you need to camp here for                  a while, Clarence Fahnestock State Park is a perfect location for that, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a good hiking trail close by. When you're here at Lake Nimham it's always fun to stop by Seth Low Pierrepont State Park Reserve. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great globe it would be. Dry warm beds await you at Residence Inn By Marriott Fishkill; a day on the slopes of Thunder Ridge is just what you need. There's some flowing water nearby, Bailey Brook is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and you can run the rapids of Wappinger Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Lake Nimham. Summer overnight lows dip down to the 60's.
