In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Boquet River. Campbell Mountain is easy to spot from Nichols Pond, and if you came to camp Camp Normandie is a pleasant spot to do that. From a rain point of view Nichols Pond is a reasonably common spot; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is       February. Nichols Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. This spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a delightful place to get some rest; camping at Barber Homestead Park is always a great experience. So much fun stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Mill Creek; a striking lake like North Pond is a tremendous spot to take a look                  at. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Nichols Pond. Going for a hike on the Bear Pond Trail is always a perfect adventure, and close to Nichols Pond you locate a golf course called Westport Country Club. All through the summertime months, highs usually are in the 70's at Nichols Pond while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's.
