This lake is so wonderful. There are great sites to look at along the Southside Trail; Little Pelkey Mountain is a peak you can see from Newberry Pond. Through the summertime at Newberry Pond highs are usually in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Newberry Pond.       This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Newberry Pond has to offer, you can camp at North Pole Campground. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Newberry Pond; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most;                  the driest month of the year is February. But wait, there's more to do near Newberry Pond. Everybody close by loves skiing at Whiteface Mountain, and going for a hike on the Schwartz Trail is always a good adventure. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a good time. A good nearby hotel is Lake Placid Club Lodge; Black Brook Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to. Near Newberry Pond you come across the Silver Lake Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Plattsburgh here. Little Black Brook is a splendid whitewater spot near Newberry Pond; a lake nearby is Taylor Pond. All the outdoors cool things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back time and again.
