Lots of folks from Seneca Falls come to Newark Reservoir, and Bristol Mountain is a good local ski area. The yearly precipitation here at Newark Reservoir is about average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while February is ordinarily the driest month. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a brilliant time here at Newark Reservoir. If you came for an overnight       stay Junius Ponds Cabins and Campground is a great place to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Red Carpet Inn Phelps. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Flint Creek, and camping is available at Cheerful Valley Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is good on Canandaigua Outlet, and Quality Inn Finger Lakes Region is a great site to get some rest. Through the warm months, highs usually                  are in the 80's at Newark Reservoir. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's.
