    In New York there are many beautiful lakes, New Lake is one of them. Go for a hike on the Oregon Trail, and swamps can be such out of the ordinary places, pop by Masher Vly while you're here at New Lake. The amount of rainfall that falls at New Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. The peak of New Lake Mountain can be spotted from New Lake, and whitewater paddling is wonderful  
   on East Stony Creek.
Any time is a perfect time at New Lake if you go for the outdoors. This is a popular site for people from Gloversville; camping is available at Northhampton Beach Recreation. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. You absolutely should go for the Adirondack Mountains. Hit the slopes at Gore Mountain in the neighborhood, and New Lake Outlet is near New Lake and is always a delight
 
               to go to.
Through the days of summer at New Lake highs are frequently in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at New Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. Man, is there a heap of enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Get wet paddling on Georgia Brook, and Wilcox Lake is a glorious lake close by.
This lake is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Shiras Pond near New Lake is a good spot to stop by, and camping at Rainbows End is always a glorious experience.
