Naumburg Pond is near New Croton Dam which is a pretty location unquestionably worth a visit, and Popolopen Creek is a great       whitewater spot nearby. Now, you may imagine that's a heap but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Naumburg Pond. Through the summertime at Naumburg Pond highs are frequently in the 80's while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and overnight lows in the 10's for Naumburg Pond. You're sure to stumble upon some cheerful people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here, and close by you find the Stillwell                  Lake Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Naumburg Pond is a quite wet place mostly with a good deal of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually July, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Naumburg Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Echo Lake is a delightful site for that; going for a hike on the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is always a good adventure. There is a fine hiking trail near Naumburg Pond called the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; a round of golf at nearby Trump National Golf Club is a splendid way to kill some time. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a splendid time here at Naumburg Pond. It's a brilliant idea to explore Bailey Brook, it's right next door to Naumburg Pond, and most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Frankcrest Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful.
