For the duration of the days of summer here at Napeague Pond, high temperatures frequently reach the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. A splendid close by hotel is White Sands Motel, and camping at Napeague Pond is glorious fun, Rocky Neck State Park is a glorious local campground.       Nothing beats kicking back at Amagansett Beach, and why not stop by Cherry Point also if you're here. Hit the beach if you want, Napeague Beach is practically right here, and golf can be played at South Fork Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Sea Crest On the Ocean is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and why not camp at Camp Niantic By The Atlantic since you're here at Napeague Pond. The high level of rainfall makes Napeague Pond a reasonably wet                  spot; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is July.
