Beautiful Mud Ponds has much to offer visitors. The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Curtis Clearing is a nice site here at Mud Ponds; there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Sucker Brook Trail. For the period of the summer highs here at Mud Ponds get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. Through

| | the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Mud Ponds fall into the 0's. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you get bored of Mud Ponds, you could also stop by nearby Cod Pond; paddling on Sacandaga River - East Branch is so much fun. hand, and Siamese Ponds is a nearby lake that you could stop by. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant view of scenic Blue Hills is available from Mud Ponds. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mud Ponds has to
offer, you can camp at Ranch Side Park. While you're here at Mud Ponds you will meet lots of people from nearby Gloversville, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Oregon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Ponds is
a nice location to visit for more than one day, Rainbows End is a nice location to camp nearby; Georgia Brook has a delightful whitewater paddling spot close by. On a perfect day at Mud Ponds you can take a hike along the Hamilton
Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and a quick trip to East Branch County Line Brook is definitely a perfect idea. Mud Ponds gets a common amount of rain; through August this area sees the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
