The warmest time of the year at Mud Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Mud Pond are in the 0's. So many fun things to do at Mud Pond, so little time. Mettawee River is a great whitewater spot close to Mud Pond, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at West Mountain. This lake       is so wonderful. At Mud Pond you can see Mount Rascal, and if you came to camp Battenkill Sportsquarters Camping is a tremendous place to do that. Here at Mud Pond there are plenty of folks from Glens Falls; Sunshine Inn is a great place to get some rest. You can run the rapids of Batten Kill River next to Mud Pond. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Lauderdale Campgrounds is a glorious place for that. Skiing                  at Willard Mountain is one of those things you just have to do, and if you need a spot to stay From The Heart Motel is a delightful choice.
