Very beautiful scenery and good skiing is what you get at Gore Mountain, and wonderful hiking is available along the Oregon Trail. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summertime months here at Mud Pond, high temperatures usually get into the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
