     The Adirondack Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. A great spot to camp here at Mud Pond is Smoke Rise Campsites; Balm of Gilead Brook is a magnificent whitewater spot nearby. Good hiking is available along the Elk Lake Marcy Trail; obviously, this is a splendid region for folks who like lakes, Clear Pond is a lake close by.

   at Mud Pond. Why not camp at Camp Dippikill Office since you're here at Mud Pond, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Hudson River. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Oregon Trail, and you're probably keen on lakes, Long Pond is one of those close by. Summertime highs at Mud Pond ordinarily tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Daytime highs during  
               the winter are in the 20's while Mud Pond nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. A good close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Lake George/Warrensburg Area. All year is a splendid time in the Adirondack Mountains if you go for the outdoors. There's wonderful hiking along the Dividing Ridge Trail; do stop at Raymond Brook if you're here at Mud Pond. Mud Pond gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month.
One of the main highlights of the surroundings of Mud Pond is Moxham Mountain, and Gore Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood.

Pack Forest Lake is on a tributary of Millington Brook in Warren County, New York and is used for recreation purposes. It has a normal surface area of 77 acres. It is owned by Suny College Of Environmental Science and Forestry. There are no motors allowed on the lake. No fires and no overnight camping allowed. Dogs must be on a leash. There is great fishing, canoeing and kayaking. An absolutely beautiful lake in the woods. The lake has handicapped fishing access as well....

I love this campground, this place has been my life sense I was born, I'm moving up to Warrensburg and I'm gonna live there for a while, I can't tell you how nice everyone at Warrensburg travel park are, they are the nicest people I have ever meet, everyone is friendly as long as your friendly back, the campsites, are the cleanest I have ever seen, and the camp ground is just all around amazing, I'm so glad that that place is a part of my life, and will continue to be a part of my life for a very long time, if not the rest of my life....
