The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and night lows at Mud Pond during the wintertime frequently drop into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to encounter some good folks from Glens Falls here, and going for a hike on the Pharoah Mountain Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Man, is there a load of entertaining stuff to do in the       Adirondack Mountains. Go for a hike on the Long Swing Trail, and swing by Huggins Brook it's a great spot to stop at. Gore Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff, and Mud Pond is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Queen Village Camp Ground is a pleasant local campground. Mud Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Mud Pond.
