If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Mud Pond. Mud Pond is not far at all from Glens Falls, and why not take a little trip to Huggins Brook while you're here. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors amusing things the area right next door to Mud Pond has to offer. There's whitewater on Schroon River for all you adrenaline kick people, and the peak of Chase Mountain can be made out from Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Camping at Queen Village Camp Ground is always a delightful experience; the Long Swing Trail offers hiking at its best.
And that's not all you can do here at Mud Pond. There's great hiking along the Pharoah Mountain Trail; Forest Lake is a tremendous lake nearby. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Green Mansion Golf Course is a golf course in the vicinity of Mud Pond; a day on the slopes of Gore Mountain is just what you need. Mud Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. And if that's
not sufficient there's a lot more amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. The snow is good at West Mountain; don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Spectacle Pond Trail.
Lake George/Warrensburg
Super 8 Motel is a nice location to get some rest, and Mud Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Forest Lake Camp is a tremendous local campground. Through the summertime months highs here at Mud Pond reach the 70's
while overnight lows are typically in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mud Pond. A normal amount of rain falls here at Mud Pond; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is January.
