Huggins Brook is a pleasant site to take a look at, and going for a hike on the Long Swing Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Mud Pond gets a typical amount of precipitation; August is the month that gets the most rain while January is usually the driest month. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a wonderful time. While you're here at Mud Pond, you could also stop at wonderful Kellum Pond, and       the Spectacle Pond Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Lake George Resort is a perfect spot to get some rest; at Mud Pond you can make out Chase Mountain. The friendly folks of Glens Falls like to hang out close by, and if you need a place to stay Lake George/Warrensburg Super 8 Motel is a good choice. Schroon River is a magnificent whitewater spot next                  to Mud Pond. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Forest Lake Camp is a splendid place for that. High temperatures at Mud Pond throughout the warm months are in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's while Mud Pond overnight low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The slopes of Gore Mountain are so inviting noone can resist; Mud Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Queen Village Camp Ground is a good local campground. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in close proximity to Mud Pond. Forest Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at; if you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Green Mansion Golf Course. If only every place had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great world it would be. All the outdoors entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back time and again.
