The Oregon Trail is a wonderful hiking trail next to Mud Pond, and Camp Dippikill Office is a good campground nearby. Mud Pond is a good spot of typical rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Mill Creek, and if you need a site to stay Super       8 Motel - Lake George/Warrensburg Area is a great choice. Be careful coming to Mud Pond, you might not ever wanna return back home again. There's whitewater on Stony Creek for all you adrenaline kick people, and you can stay the night at Thousand Acres Ranch Resort. Pine Ridge Brook is a tremendous local stream, and a lake close by is Wolf Pond. You clearly must have a thing about the Adirondack Mountains. Cave Knoll is a peak you can distinguish from Mud                  Pond, and for you golfers we recommend close by Thousand Acres Golf Club. For the duration of the days of summer at Mud Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, mostly in the 50's.
