Summer at Mud Pond comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Mud Pond are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Wildwood Christian Camp; Greek Peak is a very popular ski area nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on       the fine whitewater of Sixmile Creek, and if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Cortland is a great choice. Mud Pond beyond doubt is in the middle of a pretty outdoors paradise. If you're here at Mud Pond and you like golf, you can stop by Lakeview Golf Club, and hey, Beaver Creek is a great local stream. Here at Mud Pond you can see Simms Hill, and there are plenty of people from Ithaca here. Head up to Song Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; whitewater                  paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Fall Creek. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Mud Pond; September is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
