    Go to Mud Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of Mud Pond. While you're here at Mud Pond you can play some golf at Sayles John M Memorial Golf Course, and paddling on Little River is so much fun. Yep, outdoors exciting things truly is abundant here in the Adirondack Mountains. Mud Pond is a great spot to camp, Robinson's Iga is a great spot, and soar down the rapids of Oswegatchie  
   River - East Branch in a kayak.
Why not have a look at nearby Little Otter Pond Outlet if you're here at Mud Pond, and going for a hike on the The Loop is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail in the vicinity of Mud Pond called the Post Henderson Trail, and you acquire a nice sight of Francis Hill from here.
If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains. Stay
 
               the night at Natural Bridge K O A Camp Ground, and nearby you come across the Salmon Lake Trail which is a good hiking trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Pond, you could also check out beautiful Little Otter Pond, and McCauley Mountain is a very popular ski area nearby. Summertime at Mud Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Mud Pond tend to be in the 0's.
Mud Pond gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
