A round of golf at nearby Millstone Golf Course is a pleasant way to kill some time, and a great close by hotel is Mirbeau Inn & Spa. People from Auburn love to come to Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are tremendous; Skaneateles Lake is a lake that's close to Mud Pond, and if you came for an overnight stay Anchor Motel is a good location to camp. You feel that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Whitewater       paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Owasco River; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Cement Pond. Mud Pond is a good spot of normal rainfall; during the month of September you get the most rain around here; February is the month with the least moisture. You might want to pay a visit to Cat Hollow if you're here at Mud Pond, and Syracuse KOA is a splendid campground nearby. All through                  the days of summer at Mud Pond highs are commonly in the 70's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Mud Pond temperatures descend to the 10's.
