There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Blackwalnut Campground is a perfect place for that, and the skiing at Bristol Mountain is nice. The amount of rainfall that falls at Mud Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with       the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. It's a fine idea to pop by Bebee Creek, it's near Mud Pond. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mud Pond has to offer, you can camp at West Lake Camp Ground. All through the warm months highs here at Mud Pond reach the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's.
