From a rain point of view Mud Pond is a rather common location; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Mud Pond. Why not camp at Natural Bridge/Watertown KOA since you're here at Mud Pond. High temperatures at Mud Pond through the summertime months are in the 80's, and the overnight       is quite chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are frequently in the 20's, and night lows at Mud Pond all through the winter ordinarily drop into the 0's. If you need a spot to stay Lawrence Manor is a good choice, and drift down the rapids of Oswegatchie River - West Branch in a kayak. Visit Clark Creek if you're here at Mud Pond, and Bullrock Point is very near and is a good place to visit. A good place to camp here                  at Mud Pond is Natural Bridge K O A Camp Ground; get yourself into a kayak and hit Island Branch. This lake is so wonderful.
