Cape Woods Campground is a brilliant campground here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Stone Dam Trail. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Looking for something near Mud Pond? North Lake is close by, and you can have a wonderful hiking adventure along the Party Trail. Be careful coming to Mud Pond, you might not ever wanna go back home again. If you need a location to       stay Blue Spruce Motel is a great choice; you can run the rapids of Black River - South Branch. Mud Pond regularly gets a large amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Pine Knoll Motel. Really magnificent skiing awaits you at McCauley Mountain; Black River is a nice whitewater spot close by. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly                  is bountiful here in the Adirondack Mountains. The sight of pretty Cool Mountain near Mud Pond is great, and hiking along the Twin Lakes Trail is perfect fun. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Mud Pond. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's.
