Summertime at Mud Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Mud Pond descend into the 0's. Good hiking is available along the Party Trail, and of course Golden Stair Creek is a stunning stream that is worth checking out. If you adore the outdoors you'll adore it here in the

| | Adirondack Mountains. If you came to camp Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a brilliant place to do that, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by McCauley Mountain. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. You'll hit upon a charming lake called North Lake near Mud Pond; Mud Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, OLD Forge Camping Resort is a brilliant local campground. in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Little Falls is a tremendous location to spend a night or two; Black River is a brilliant whitewater spot close by. Mud Pond is a wet location that gets
a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail. Man, is there heaps of amusing stuff to do right
next door to Mud Pond. While you're here at Mud Pond, you could also have a look at beautiful Chamber Lake, and you can run the rapids of Black River - South Branch. This lake is so wonderful. There's tremendous hiking along the Stone Dam Trail, and Cool Mountain is clearly visible from Mud Pond.
