    If you like lakes and you're in this part of New York you can check out Mud Pond. Mud Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. So much entertaining stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Why not camp at Robinson's Iga since you're here at Mud Pond, and there's brilliant hiking along the Salmon Lake Trail.  
   Mud Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
This site, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. A splendid nearby hotel is Daikers Brookside Lodging, and the Norridge Trail offers hiking at its best. A nice location to camp here at Mud Pond is Cape Woods Campground, and there's whitewater on Oswegatchie River - East Branch for all you adrenaline rush seekers. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Mud Pond. Big Rock
 
               Cottages is a great place to get some rest, unsurprisingly you could also stop at Beaverdam Pond if you're here; it's not far at all.
During the long summer days at Mud Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Mud Pond tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Mud Pond is right by the Big Deer Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at McCauley Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and you'll meet a lot of people from Ogdensburg-Massena here.
There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Oswegatchie River - East Branch, and Summit Mountain is pretty and can be spotted from here.
