    Beautiful Mud Pond has much to offer visitors. For the duration of the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Mud Pond. For the period of the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. Highs all through the winter are mostly in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Pond dipping down into the 0's all through winter nights. Why not camp at Long Lake Camp if you're here at Mud Pond; in the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater  
   paddling on Raquette River. This lake is so wonderful. Interesting geology is available here; Castle Rock is close to Mud Pond, and Peaked Mountain is beautiful and can be spotted from here.
Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Going for a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Minnow Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Woodlake Inn. If you like the outdoors, you'll go for Mud Pond. A quick visit to East Inlet Brook near Mud Pond is a great idea, and Bluff Point is very near and is a good place to stop by.
Cedar River has a good whitewater paddling spot close by, and a great spot to camp here at Mud Pond is Hoss's Country Campground. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. All the water falling down from the sky makes Mud Pond a wet location; most of the rain falls during August while February is commonly the driest month.
Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a perfect time. A lake close by is Blue Mountain Lake; if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail.
