     Mud Pond is always a pleasure to visit. The peak of Bald Peak can be distinguished from Mud Pond; if you came to camp Craig Harbor Canyon is a nice spot to do that. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Drift down the rapids of Mill Creek in a kayak, and don't leave Mud Pond without first going for a hike along the Clear Pond Trail. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Mud Pond; the month with most of the rain  
   is August, and the driest month of the year is February.
Through the summertime months highs here at Mud Pond get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Mud Pond. Mud Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Mud Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Barber Homestead Park is a
 
               magnificent local campground, and Family Fun Cabins & Motel is a pleasant place to get some rest.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Boquet River, and you can go for a hike on the Bear Pond Trail. This lake is so wonderful. This is a good vicinity for people who like lakes. Bartlett Pond is a lake nearby, and after a long day outdoors Westport Hotel is a tremendous site to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. There's glorious hiking along the Lost Pond Trail.
