It's always fun to stop by Mud Pond. Now, you may assume that's loads but there's even more fun things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Bear Pond Mountain is a peak you can make out from Mud Pond, and Ticonderoga - Super 8 Motel is a brilliant site to get some rest. Brookwood RV Resorts is a nice campground nearby, obviously you could also stop by Little Rock Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. Mud Pond is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains.

Going for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Ticonderoga Inn & Suites is a brilliant place to spend a night or two. Pond is not the only place nearby, Grizzle Ocean is a nearby lake. You can run the rapids of Putnam Creek next to Mud Pond; the Clear Pond Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all
the fun stuff at Mud Pond. Schroon River is a brilliant whitewater spot near Mud Pond, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Rock Pond Trail. Mud Pond gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the wettest
month of the year is commonly August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is February. Summertime highs at Mud Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures
sink down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows at Mud Pond all through the winter mostly sink into the 0's.
