Mud Pond is a lake worth visiting. Dry warm beds await you at Mirror Lake Inn; the fine people of Plattsburgh like to hang out close by. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Mud Pond. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Mud Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. And that's not all you can do here at Mud Pond. If the weather is good here at Mud Pond, you can go for a hike along the Schwartz Trail. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond
that you need to camp here for a while, Douglas Corp Of Silver Lake is a nice site for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Mount Pisgah is one of those things you just must do, and let's not forget Alder Brook which is
a stream that you may come across during your stay. Mud Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains.
Very lovely scenery and great skiing is what you get at Whiteface Mountain; a glorious place for whitewater paddling
is Saranac River - North Branch. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Pond you can take a hike along the Silver Lake Mountain Trail, and the McKenzie Pond Trail is a nice hiking trail close by.
