Paddling on Ouleout Creek is so much fun. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mud Pond has to offer, you can camp at Echo Lake Resort and Campground. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Mud Pond. Susquehanna Motor Lodge is a pleasant place to get some rest, and if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Sundown Golf & Country Club is close by. This       lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Algonkin Motel is a great site to spend a night or two, and no need to travel far to visit interesting stuff like Gibson Pinnacle. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Bowman Creek, and you can stay the night at Riverside RV Campground. Mud Pond sees pretty high levels of precipitation; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Summertime highs at Mud Pond mostly tend                  to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
