The annual precipitation here at Mud Pond is about average; November is the month that gets the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. Cato Golf Club is a delightful golf course nearby, and while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Auburn. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Mud Pond has to offer, you can camp at Riverforest       Park Campground and Marina; Owasco River is a glorious whitewater spot close by. Just can't get enough of Mud Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Weedsport Inn, and if you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Oswego River. Weedsport Days Inn is a great place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Mud Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Duck Lake Campground is a wonderful place for that. During                  the summer months at Mud Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 60's.
