Throughout the long summer days at Mud Pond highs are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Mud Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Duck Lake is in close proximity to Mud Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Weedsport Days Inn. You're probably into lakes, Slayton       Pond is one of those nearby, and camping at Duck Lake Campground is always a brilliant experience. So much fun stuff to do here at Mud Pond, too brilliant to be true. Cato Golf Club is a golf course in close proximity to Mud Pond, and a great spot to camp here at Mud Pond is Hejamada Camping Resort. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Owasco River, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Weedsport Inn is a                  pleasant site to spend a night or two. Get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Oswego River, and Mud Pond is not far at all from Auburn.
