Do go to Lake Salubria right next door to Mud Lake, it's a lovely lake; dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Bath, NY. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Mud Lake has to offer, you can camp at Wagon wheel Campground; soar down the rapids of Canisteo River in a kayak. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Mud Lake. Paddling on Honeoye Creek is so much fun, and there's       some flowing water nearby, Waldo Creek is a stream you can visit while you're here. You can never get enough of the fine skiing at Bristol Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Mud Lake, you could also check out delightful West Branch Keuka Lake, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn Bath / Hammondsport is a tremendous choice. All through the warmest time of the year here at Mud Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's.                  For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Mud Lake temperatures fall to the 10's. From a rainfall point of view Mud Lake is a quite common place; June is the wettest month with most rain while January is mostly the driest month.
