Beautiful Mud Lake has much to offer visitors. What would winter be without some skiing at Swain, and the sight of Bronson Hill is pretty. Holiday Hill Campground is a pleasant campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Canaseraga Creek. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Mud Lake; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is January. | | need a place to stay Days Inn is a delightful choice. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Hornell, and paddling on Sugar Creek is so much fun. At Mud Lake during the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, frequently in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mud Lake. That right there is plenty already, but it goes on; Mud Lake has it all. Tumble Hill Campground is a glorious local campground. | |
